Return From Seville�s International Bird Show With 8 Gold Medals Including Best Team In Show.

The delegation of eight members of the Gibraltar Bird Breeders Association have recently returned from Seville where they have participated in the much acclaimed and awaited International Bird Show held in Dos Hermanas � Seville and organized by The Ornithological and Cultural Association "El Canario". A special prize of best team in show plus a total of 16 medals were won, 8 Gold, 5 Silver and 3 Bronze.

The show attracted 185 participant from six nations including, Belgium, France, Germany, Portugal, Spain and Gibraltar.

There were 2800 birds on show spread amongst 210 groups of coloured birds and 185 of type, amongst European Fauna, Exotics and Hybrid groups.The G.B.B.A. contingence participated with fifty-seven birds all ringed with IOA/Com closed rings.

G.B.B.A. participants where: J.L.Caruana, John and Richard.Gonzalez, Tony Key, Stephen Moreno, Maxi Pratts, Peter Sarde�a, and Luis Spiteri.
